In this ceramic session, we’re going to explore alternative firing processes! We’ll focus on Raku, in which we pull our work out of a red-hot kiln and place it in combustible chambers. Long story short, we’ll be playing with fire! Plan on making non-food-related wares to decorate our lives.

Grab your camera and your curiosity. This club blends on-location photography with creative editing in Adobe Photoshop. We’ll visit three unique spots—a corn farm, an animal farm, and Pittsburgh Glass Center—capturing images with purpose and personality. Back in our virtual studio, you’ll transform your shots through cropping and creative edits. Each student will mat and frame their three strongest images for a final showcase, capped off with a closing reception.
Requirements: Digital SLR Camera, Photoshop CC, and Zoom videoconferencing software.
