Nights are cold and dreary.  Come inside our expansive darkroom and learn the art of black and white 35mm film photography.  Adult students will have the opportunity to shoot rolls of 35mm film at their leisure then process and print at MCG.  All levels of photo skillz are encouraged to participate.

Come in out of the cold and make some fresh pots for the new year. In this course we’ll explore both the pottery wheel and hand building techniques in this open ended class.  If you can imagine it we can try and make it!

Let’s kick the winter blues by diving into some still life photography. We will use our digital SLR cameras as well as our cell phones to capture the small wonders around us. Learn about your camera(s) and lens(es) and create basic lighting set ups with the lights you have in your home. Our lessons will include capturing objects close up in controlled lighting, telling stories with composition, and creating interesting artwork (in Photoshop) from patterns you find in nature.  No experience needed.

Requirements: Digital SLR Camera, Smart Phone with Camera, Photoshop CC and Zoom Videoconferencing Software (free)
